Card: Stingray – from The Wild Unknown Animal Spirit cards by Kim Krans.
“The stingray card represents a pivotal point in personal growth. The moment has come when the stingray must decide between the old (easy, comfortable, and familiar) and the new (challenging, uncomfortable, and unfamiliar)…No matter what choice is made now, it’s inevitable that this dilemma will surface again and again, as the force of dharma growing within the stingray is too strong to ignore.”
Message from the Faeries: Stingrays are so beautiful and graceful, as they glide through the ocean waters. They also can be quite dangerous with the poisonous sting of their tails. As you navigate through the waters of life, be strong and graceful like the stingray.
This week you my find yourself making some very important life decisions. You won’t necessarily be taking immediate action, but your future plans are laid out by you, as you feel a burst of strength and determination.
No matter how are you try please your friends, partners and family, sometimes the decisions you make may upset or hurt them. It doesn’t matter how much grace and dignity you evoke, the result would be the same: someone won’t be happy with your plans. Like the stingray, you might not want to harm, but it can happen regardless. You know that it really is impossible to make everyone happy. While you can do your best to make amends and accommodate other people’s needs, sometimes you have no choice but to follow your heart and do what’s best for you.
We love you,
Card: Crow – from The Wild Unknown Animal Spirit cards by Kim Krans.
“The crow has long been a symbol of magic. A crow personality is drawn to the supernatural and has a gift for seeing the unseen, knowing the unknown. It is said that the crow holds within its mind’s eye the three realities: past, present, and future.”
Message from the Faeries: Last week the Unicorns came to visit to remind you of the importance of believing in magic. This week the Crows have shown up to remind you the importance of your intuitive gifts.
Some people think that magic isn’t real. Magic is very real. Magic is that energy that exists between an idea and the transformation of that idea into something real. It’s the energy that turns a seed into a beautiful flower. It’s the energy that hovers between the sleeper and the dream. The Crow is able to observe these energies of spirit, which cannot always be observed by the untrained human eye.
Intuition is the ability to sense these energies. Like the Crow, you also have intuitive abilities. Some people make the mistake of thinking that intuition is a magical power. It isn’t a magical power at all, it is a natural part of the human sensory experience, just like touch, smell, hearing, seeing and taste is. Everyone experiences these senses in various degrees of ability. Some people have amazing hearing, while some people have keen sense of smell. So naturally, some people have well developed intuition.
The Crows would like to remind you that you have this natural intuitive sense, and want you to spend time this week exploring and developing your sixth sense. You can do this by recording your dreams, reading tarot cards, paying attention to your those gut feelings, and/or observing signs from the Universe. We hope you have some fun exploring.
We love you.
Card: Starfish – from the The Wild Unknown Animal Spirit cards by Kim Krans.
“The starfish is a natural and exquisite beauty, mesmerizing to all. Being around someone with starfish energy is a thrill, like you’ve been put under a spell of divinity itself. The problem is, these creatures have been reliant on how they look (and what other people think of them) for so long that they may have forgotten their life’s deeper calling. When this card appears it’s important to ask: Am I being swayed by outward appearances? What dreams have I put aside to please others?”
Message from the Faeries: This is your week to shine like a star. Go out there and be your bright and vibrant self. It’s okay to sometimes be the person in the room that everyone room gravitates towards. It can be lots of fun being the centre of attention. We encourage you to explore your star-like qualities and to find enjoyment in your glamorous self.
Of course, when someone’s star qualities are out of balance and they become desperate for attention, this can be an unhealthy behaviour. The opposite shadow aspect of this is when you shun the spotlight and withdraw too much into yourself. We aren’t asking you to go out and become a celebrity (unless you really want that!), we are just asking you to go out and have more fun.
We also think it can be joyful and exciting to put yourself out there. Put on some of your best clothes, maybe put on a little make-up or put on your fancy shoes. Pay attention to how you feel when you put a little effort in your appearance. If it feels good, why don’t you do it more often. Also, pay attention to how other people react to you when you put a bit more effort your self-care. How does that make you feel? Have fun with it!
We love you,
