Faerie Card Reading for the Week of May 15 – 21, 2017

Card: Easy Does It – from the Magical Messages from the Fairies Oracle Cards by Doreen Virtue.

“Just as the dolphin rides the waves with joy and ease, so will the waves of your life carry you if you’ll just relax and everything flow. You drew this card because you’ve been trying to force something to happen, and the underlying fear has created blocks and barriers for you. Take some time to go outside in nature to help you relax. Let go of the situation, and watch how quickly everything you desire occurs.”

Message from the Faeries: The only thing that is stopping you from achieving your goals right now is yourself. You are either trying to hard and trying to control everything, or you are so full of fear of failure that you preventing yourself from moving forward. Being afraid of success might also be a factor right now.

Right now, you really need to just let go. Let go of your fears. Let go of your need to control everything. Let go of your thoughts and ideas of what other people might think of you. Let go of your hopes, dreams and desires. Yes, you heard us correctly. When you obsess too much of your wishes you can end up strangling them to death.

The trick to success is that you can let your goals be the motivating force behind your actions, but you have to let your goals take over the driver seat. There is no need to micro manage or control everything. You let the dream take over. Let it guide you and direct you. No doubts. No fears. Just let your desire be the leader, not your ego. When the hear is in control, and not the mind, your chance of success is increased tenfold.

We love you,

The Faeries

Faerie Card Reading for the Week of September 14 – 20, 2015

Card: Four of Cups – from the Tarot of the Holy Light by Christine Payne-Towler.

“The Four of Cups is associated with a restless period, dissatisfied with life. One becomes emotionally uncomfortable with friends and family, habits and routines. Stagnant and longing for change, the heart is questioning its options, sometimes to the point of cultivating cravings for distraction and oblivion. A full trance of alienation pulls like undertow; the emotional waters are not safe and predictable anymore. Symptoms include loss of motivation, fitful meandering among the inessentials, failure to find pleasure in one’s traditional attractions, toxic and self-polluting habits, and vague presentiment that something is not quite right.”

Message from the Faeries: This New Moon has caused a bit of a ruckus. If you are feeling like your feathers are bit ruffled, it’s because this New Moon has forced you to face the facts there are a few things in your life that you just aren’t happy with right now. It could be anything from your job, a friendship or where you live. Whatever it is that bothering you, the bee in your bonnet just won’t stop buzzing.

The current celestial events have created a wave of energy where you desire change or something new. Like the cups being bounced around by the waves in this card, you feel yourself being jossled about emotionally. Your boat is being rocked, and you want to head for calmer waters.

Do not be afraid. This is just a temporary feeling. In fact, you are being presented with a tremendous opportunity to create the changes you desire. You can use these energies that are causing the waves to propel towards that which you desire.

Fortune, which is represented by The Sun on this card, is shining upon you. Don’t fight the currents you are tangled up in, but rather go with the flow of it and they will take you to your desired destination. You will soon leave behind all the things in your life that are no longer serving you. Who said the journey would be an easy one?

Try to enjoy the ride.

We love you!

Faerie Card Reading for the Week of September 7 – 13, 2015

Card: Two of Wands – from the Voyager Tarot by James Wanless, Ph.D.

“White candlelight is symbolic of purity. Like the untainted white snow and impeccable white lotus, you are clean of character impurities. Purity, as the natural light of the candle, means being authentic and natural – be true to yourself without the contamination of outside conditioning. White light, the crystals, the window and lotus reflection represent purity of perception. See things as they really are, unhampered by prejudicial preconceptions. Pure white energy means living without artificial stimulants, chemicals and drugs. Pure, you are a window to others for seeing their path. Be a guiding light.”

Message from the Faeries: Purity is such an intereting word. What does it mean to be pure? When we imagine pure, we imagine something in it’s wholeness. We imagine something in it’s true essence. When we think of you in your purity, we think of you undiluted. You are full and shining brightly in your naturalness.

Being pure doesn’t mean that you are clean, without a mark. Purity does not mean perfection. Perfecttion is such a funny concept to us. It assumes that something can be imperfect, and while this is an idea that some of you might subscribe to, we do not see anything as being imperfect. Everything is always perfect, always. Therefore, we never consider you to be impure. There is nothing that anyone can do or say that would make us see you as impure. We do often see you as diluted.

What do we mean by diluted? How can you be diluted? When we see you in social situations, pretending to be happy when you are sad, you are diluting yourself. You are not showing your pure essence of who you are in the moment. When you dumb yourself down in conversations so that you fit in, this is diluting your intellect. We see you do it all the time – making yourself dull so that you don’t outshine others.

There is nothing wrong with the practice of diluting your pure essence, and there is often some very practical reasons for doing this, but this week we ask that you not water yourself down in any way. Be your authentic self as much as you can. We know that we ask you to do this often, and we would like you to take it up a notch this week. When you are being your pure essence-self this week, we ask that you also try to keep your body, mind and spirit as pure as possible.

This week we ask that you avoid eating processed foods, alcohol and drugs. We ask that you eat whole foods and that you try to get as much fresh and exercise as you can. Also, try to spend at least 5 minutes meditating in the morning, and smudge every day. After you do this for a week, we would like you to take note of how you feel? Do you feel better? Do you feel good? Do you feel pure? Are you diluted? Do you notice any change at all? This will be a good practice for the build up towards the New Moon, where you think about what life you are creating for yourself, on the 13th.

Faerie Card Reading for the Week of August 31 – September 6, 2015

Card: Sky Queen – from the Mystical Cats Tarot  by Lunea Weatherstone.

“Your quick wits and sharp intelligence serve you well, as does your gift for communication. You may be keeping personal relationships at arm’s length, though strategic alliances are valuable to you. Calm thoughtfulness is more important to you than emotions now. This is a good time to get perspective and consider future decisions.”

Message from the Faeries: This delightful kitty has the right idea. She’s climbed a tall tree so that she can sit and watch everything that’s going on around her. This week, we recommend that you model yourself after the Sky Queen. There are some intense energies following this full moon, and there is a lot of emotional upheaval happening all around you. As tempting as it is to get involved in all the drama that is happening, we recommend that you find a place for you to sit and be the silent observer.

You may find yourself getting swept away by these emotional waves, but you would be better off sitting this one out. Whatever is going on around you is most likely not worth all the pain and suffering that you were witnessing all around you. Cat’s are sensitive creatures, and are very empathetic. Most people mistaken their cool demeanour for indifference, but they are just very selective of whom or what they will involve themselves with emotionally. As you feel yourself getting swept away, think to yourself: do I really need to be getting myself so emotionally invested in this? Is it really worth it?

Cats show great discernment when it comes to almost everything in their life. Some people are quite put off by how cat’s behave, they think they are snobs and are too picky, but we think that most of you could learn a thing or two from cats. While they too can sometimes be swept away by their emotions, they are often more inclined to make their decisions with a calm, cool and collected mind. They know when they have to be sensible and not sensitive.

This week, when things feel like they are spinning out of control, or when things feel too intense, just take that time-out or walk away. Don’t do or say something that you might regret in a heated moment. This week is defintely about taking the high road. You will thankful, in the long run, for choosing the easy way out this time.

We love you! Be cool!

Faerie Card Reading for the Week of March 23 – 29, 2015

Card: V The Hierophant – from The Paulina Tarot by Paulina Cassidy.

The hierophant is a scholarly willow tree with great inner vision and wisdom. His leaves intermix with glowing stars, signifying his connection with life on a spiritual level. The eye above his head signifies his quest for higher truth, which he shares with younger generations.”

Message from the Faeries: Sometimes it might not feel like it, but believe it or not you are all like this wise willow in this card. You are all spiritual beings full of great wisdom, connected to both the Earth and the Stars. You are Universal beings with all the wisdom you could possibly need within. You are all accomplished yogis and yoginis in your own divine practice.

This week we are calling on you look within for the answers for all of your problems and questions. We know that it seems easier to seek the answers to your problems from others, and it’s true that this can very helpful, especially when dealing with big issues, but we want you to recognize your own truth and wisdom.

One reason why some of you are having so many difficulties with some of your problems right now is because you aren’t listening to or trusting your own inner wisdom. You know that deep down you know the truth, but you are just outright ignoring yourself. Only you know what is really right for you. What other people are saying is true for them, it worked for them, that doesn’t mean it’s going to work for you. Trust and believe in yourself.

For those of you who are feeling extra courageous this week, we have a challenge for you: go this entire week without consulting your tarot cards, pendulums or any other oracle you may use. Don’t ask anyone but yourself for answers and try not to use any of these divining tools. Just sit and listen to your truth, your divine intuition, for your own guidance that you know in your heart to be true. Your divine intuition is also the voice of God. Trusting yourself and your own divine guidance is trusting God.

If you are given the opportunity, we would love to see you encourage others to also trust themselves and seek their own divine guidance. What a wonderful world you would live in if you all felt empowered and believed in yourself.

We love you.

Faerie Card Reading for the Week of June 16th – 22nd, 2014

Card: XIII Death – from the Fairy Lights Tarot by Lucia Mattioli

Image

“Amid poppies of rebirth and fireflies of enlightenment. Death proclaims it’s eternal and beautiful mystery. Do not cling to things that no longer serves you, but release them with gratefulness”

Message from Erin: In the Major Arcana of the traditional tarot, there is always the Death card. I have seen people have a bad reaction to this card because the immediately become afraid that either they are going to die or that someone they love is going to die. I have yet to do a reading where someone’s death has actually come up. It is always the case that this card is about letting go or about allowing a part of ourselves die, so that a new aspect of ourselves can come to light. After death there is birth or rebirth. Whenever I see this card I am very happy for the person who receives it in a reading, as I know that they are in a state of transformation. They are ready to let go of something that is no longer helping them in their life journey, and they are opening up to allow themselves to receive something new into their lives. It can also represent the ending of a stage in someone’s personal growth, and the beginning of a new stage. Death is never the end, it is always a beginning.

I think it’s no coincidence that this card is the number 13. We just passed through a very powerful and intense full moon this past Friday the 13th. I feel as though this date of June 13, 2014 was a major milestone in our journeys, and this day represents the end of – an era, a phase, a stage, a cycle, a step – and the beginning of a new period of time where the energies will change into something totally different than what we have been experiencing. Right now we are also in a period where we are in Mercury Retrograde which can make things a bit challenging with other people in our lives, but it is also a good time for us to look into ourselves. It’s a really good time to decide what is no longer serving us in our lives and then begin to take the steps to make the changes we want.

The faeries are telling me that they see a lot of us resisting change right now and that we are having trouble letting go. There is a lot of fear. They are saying: “Don’t be afraid of Death – don’t be afraid of change”. Everything is going to be okay. They are saying that the combination of the intense energies of the past week, along with the Mercury Retrograde, has really gotten some of backs up against the wall. They are saying it is really important for us to remember to breathe – to take lots of deep breaths, and they are also saying to try and not be too quick to react to things that other people say or do. Don’t take things so personally!

So it seems as though things might be a little intense for just a little bit longer, but this card showing up for all of us this week is a really great sign, and it goes with the promise of last week, that things are about change and they are about to get better. Just hang in there everyone! We can and will get through this. The more we resist and struggle, the more we make it difficult we make it on ourselves. Relax! As the late Bill Hicks says It’s Just A Ride.

Much love,

Erin

Faerie Card Reading for the Week of May 26th – June 1st, 2014

This week’s reading is brought to you by my wonderful mother, Terry, and the faeries. Thanks Mom!!!!

Reading for May 26 – June 2, 2014
I’m so grateful that Erin asked me to do the weekly reading for her while away for the week in Eastern Canada. While getting ready to do the reading I noticed how much I felt like a big kid full of excitement to be working with the Faerie folk today. So let her fly I thought and they did!
The Faerie folk had a lovely chuckle at my surprise when I saw one card jump out of the deck and two were there for my retrieval. The two cards are from the Magical Messages from the Fairies Oracle Cards by Doreen Virtue, Ph.D.
The 1st card: You’ve Got the Power
“Use your abilities to resolve this situation. You can do it!”
The Faerie tell me this card is to remind you that within you have the power to do anything your heart desires. All you need to do is Believe in yourself, your dreams and or desires. You can see a determined little fairy dances along the strand of spider silk. She is surrounded by the support of other beings. Her focus is not upon her support because inside she knows that no matter what they are all-ways present for her.
Instead she remains focused on the Power within that she believes will assist her in accomplishing her goal. This is all that we ask—Believe in you and use the Power within to accomplish your own goals, dreams and desires. You Can Do It!

Wow…the 2nd card: Good-Bye to the Old, Hello to the New
“You’ve finished one part of your life and now a new and even better part is beginning.”
I am told that we have recently completed a cycle in our Earthly evolution. You must understand that for some of you the recent times were difficult and transforming; while for others you may not have noticed anything different in your earthly life. What else is new you may ask? Well what is new is you are at the beginning of a new cycle; if you Believe and use the Power and Magic within; you will Shine forth.
So take some personal risks right now and move forward into the life you imagine(d) could be. Remember: Believe, Take Action and You Will Reap….what fun. Enjoy Creating!
Have a Blessed week. Love & Hugs, Terry and the Faeries ❤

Faerie Card Reading for the Week of May 19th – 25th, 2014

Card: Finish What You’ve Started from the Magical Unicorns Oracle Cards by Doreen Virtue.

Image

Message from Erin: Oh my goodness! I am almost dropped the ball this week. I totally forgot what day it was today! I kept thinking it was Sunday and that I had forever to do the reading for this week…only it’s Monday and the new week has already begun! I haven’t totally failed because it’s still the 19th, for 60 more minutes. On an awesome note, I spent the weekend at the I Can Do It! Conference, here in Vancouver over the weekend, and I just spent all day today volunteering at Doreen Virtue and Radleigh Valentine’s Certified Angel Card Reader’s course today. It’s been a very busy couple of days of fun. Let’s get to the reading! (Haha, very funny choice of cards, faeries).

Message from The Faeries: This card is a reminder to you this week to finish what you have started. There are many of you out there who have started some very important project in the past year and you have put it on the back burner of your life’s kitchen stove. It’s time to get this project cooking again.  Most of you have recently passed through a bit of turbulence, and you are starting to pick up your stride again. Also, many of you have emerged from your winter hibernation. It’s time to get back to work on you passions.

There are so many of you out there who have these amazing ideas, books, projects and dreams that you have not finished bringing into fruition, but you have for whatever reason placed at the bottom of your list of priorities. You know exactly what this project is that we are talking about. This isn’t just some hobby, or something that you were working on just for fun, this is work that is part of your life’s purpose. This is something that you came here, specifically in this lifetime, to work on.

We understand that “life” has a habit if taking over, and you end up pushing the things that are most important to you into the background, because you have other obligations. Somewhere along the line, it becomes easy to lose sight of what really matters to you, and you fall into the pattern of getting caught up in the mundane. It’s a pattern that is ingrained into most of you. The great news is that you can easily break out of this pattern by consciously deciding to re-prioritize what truly matters to you in this lifetime.

You have this desire that burns inside of you. It’s time to re-stoke this small flame into a fire and let your passions burn.

Make it happen!

We love you,

The Faeries

Faerie Card Reading for the Week of May 5th – 11th, 2014

Card: Vesta – from the Goddess Guidance Oracle Cards by Doreen Virtue.

Image

“Vesta is the Roman goddess of home and hearth. Vesta us a fire goddess who brings warmth to households, both as a temperature and as an emotion. In ancient Rome, a temple in her honor bore a flame that burned continually. Call upon Vesta to oversee any changes you’d like to make in your living situation.”

Message from The Faeries: We have heard the expression: Home is where the heart is. To this we say: Everywhere your heart is is your home. Wherever you are, at any given moment, is home. This whole world is your home. You are your home. So, if you are feeling uncomfortable right now, wherever you are, we ask that you really sit down and think about it. Is the problem with your external environment, or does the problem really have to do with how you are feeling inside?

It’s true, sometimes there are things going on in your external environment that can make you feel uncomfortable and can be rather unpleasant, and the only solution is to go someplace more enjoyable. But, often your discontent can really just be traced to back to yourself and your emotional body. One way to feel better on the inside is to change something about what’s going on in your environment. For example, perhaps if you spruced up your home with fresh flowers, and lit some candles, you would find the energy in your home shift, and then you begin to feel better. Sometimes just cleaning a space in your home, like the bedroom or living room, can make you feel good. When you make your environment more livable, or you move to a more livable space, you may find yourself begin to thrive better in a cleaner environment.

There is a bit of a paradox here because it really goes both ways. If you change your inner environment, your external environment changes, and vise versa. What kind of change do you think your home needs right now? Is it your inner space or outer space that can use some sprucing up? If you are unhappy with something in your home, what are you doing to help change the situation or make it better? Whatever you decide is the right answer for you is the only thing that really matters. We encourage you this week to make some sort of small change to either your living space or your inner space, and then see what other changes happen as a result of your actions. We think you will be rather pleasantly surprised.

We love you.

Faerie Card Reading for the Week of March 31st – April 6th, 2014

Card: Connect with Nature – from the Magical Messages from the Fairies Oracle Cards by Doreen Virtue.

Image

Message from The Faeries: This is a time, seasonally, of great transformation. Depending on where you live, you could be moving from summer to fall, or from winter to spring. Either way, these are both times where everything outside in the “natural world” is moving from one state into another. We have said this before, and not now it is time to remind you again, that when these seasonal changes happen, there is a very special quality to the air that happens. It’s really quite magical, and there are so many health benefits to atmosphere when the plants move into a state of dormancy or rebirth.

We are certain that most of you can physical sense this in the atmosphere. It’s as though the air changes it’s smell. It’s as though your senses are heightened at this time, and quite honestly they are. You become more aware or alert. With your senses in full effect, it’s really the best time to be out walking around in nature. It’s the best time of year to be outside, taking in all the beauty, smells, sights, sounds and textures. Just being outside and breathing the air, as opposed to staying inside all the time – which a lot of you have been doing if you have been coming out of the winter – it’s really important to be outside and taking in this very invigorating air.

It’s not a coincidence that the Spring and the Fall are traditionally times where people meet and couple with each other. It most certainly something in the air that brings people together. So for those of you who have been single and are wanting to meet their partner – this really is magical time to be outside and to meet other people. Even if you are in a relationship and are just wanting to meet some new people and make new friends – this really is the best time to be out there and meeting people. There really is something magic in the air.

We think that being outside in the woods or by the ocean really is best at this time of year, but if you can’t make it to these places, we suggest a walk in the park or just walking through the more quite neighbourhoods of your area. This gives you an opportunity to really take in what’s going on around you – with the plants, trees and animals. Being connected to Nature has so many health benefits on so many levels that volumes could be written about it.

So please, go outside! Enjoy the fresh air! Feel the magic!

We love you!

The Faeries.
