Card: The Inner Voice – from the Angel Prayers Oracle Cards by Kyle Gray.
“The inner voice is very subtle and it takes patience and the willingness to listen in order to truly hear what it says. But you will know when the Angels are speaking to you because whatever they present to you will wholly loving and supportive and there will be no rush. If your ‘guidance’ is to do something that will bring harm to you or another person or you are promised excessive riches, then you’ll know the ego has taken over.”
Message from Erin: The faeries have expressed to me many times that if they could have one wish for us it would be that we learned to trust our intuition. What is intuition? It’s that gut feeling you have when you meet someone for the first time. It’s that sinking feeling that you get before something bad happens. Your intuition is your basic instincts. It’s also those first thoughts that pop into your mind, that surprise you, when your trying to come up with solutions to problems. Your intuition is the guidance you get from what some people call “your higher self”.
I’m not entirely sure I’m satisfied with the term “higher self” because in infers that we aren’t at our very best in this moment, and I think we’re all trying hard to be that. I would rather call the higher self our spirit. Our spirit is here and a part of ourself at all times, but it can get really drowned out by our ego – thoughts and feelings. That’s why some people are to drawn to meditation. Meditation is the best way to quiet our ego and connect to our spirit.
Some people pray so that they can receive tguidance from guides, angels and other spirits. The Faeries think that this just great, and they are always happy to oblige, but they insist that we all carry the answers within, in our spirit. If you feel you can’t connect within and must seek help from a divine being, Kyle Gray’s advice in the above quote is a very useful guideline for discernment.
It’s a cliché expression, and probably over used, but the message for this week is: TRUST YOUR VIBES.
I love you,
Erin (and the faeries)
