Card: Three of Cups – from The Fountain Tarot by Jonathan Saiz.
“Three cups glow in the radiant warmth that can only be created by hearts that share a past. The Three of Cups is a spontaneous celebration – in the past, the present, or the future – that honours the bonds of family and intimate friendship. Though your solitary achievements have been many, now is the time to acknowledge your community, and revel in the love of those who know and support you. “
Message from the Faeries: Now that, for some of you, the fall season has begun, it is time to relax a little and reflect on all of your accomplishments. Be thankful and grateful for all that you have achieved in your life until this moment. Think about how got to where you are today. All that you have and all that you know – did you get to this moment all on your own? No, you didn’t. You had a lot of help along the way.
This week is the perfect time to remember everyone that’s helped you on your life’s journey. It is a could practice to honour and respect them. Show gratitude and appreciation for all of your friends and family, and even the strangers who were there for you when you were in a tough spot. One way to honour them is to tell them how much they mean to you – call them up, send them a message or buy them a little gift.
Another way to honour this love of family and friendship is to return the kindness – to them or to a stranger. This is the time to be generous: with words, actions and deeds. There are so many people in the world right now that could really use a helping hand right now – give whatever you can. Autumn is a time of abundance and wealth, and most importantly: sharing. Let the energies of love and charity flow at this time.
We also want to remind you that the Three of Cups is your own personal trifecta: body mind, and spirit. Are these three things in balance and harmony right now? This would be a good week to start working towards bringing the three together so that you are well balanced going into the winter season.
We love you,
Card: Three of Summer – from the Victorian Fairy Tarot by Lunaea Weatherstone.
“Making time for friendship is as important as any other aspect of life. If you’ve been neglecting your connections to friends, now is the time to make it a priority. You will find great satisfaction in gathering with those who know you well and with whom you can be yourself. There doesn’t need to be a special occasion for a gathering of friends—the time you spend in good company is a celebration in itself.”
Message from The Faeries: This week it’s important that you take a break from your schedules and day-to-day life, and spend time with good friends. Be sure sure you go out and have some fun together.
It’s so easy to get caught up in the mundane, and to isolate yourself from the company of those who love you. The way most of your lives are designed, you spend your time either at home or at work, and you spend little time with your friends.
Go out! Have fun. Break free from your routine and spend time with people who love you unconditionally. That’s what real friends are. They are people that you feel free to just let go and have fun with. They are also the people you can say anything to. They are also the people have your back during the tough times.
Whatever you have scheduled for this week, be sure to spend time having fun with friends.
Erin: I had a chuckle when I picked this card. I thought for surely that it was meant just for me, but the Faeries insist that this card is for everyone.
This week, one of my best friends is visiting me. I’ve known him for 25 years – since I was 15! It’s so wonderful to have someone around that knows me so well. I would say that he is like family, but it’s different. With family comes pressure and expectations. With a good friend, you can say and do whatever you want. You don’t have to worry so much about pleasing people or about hurting feelings.
It feels good to spend time with friends, especially good friends that you can just hang out, let loose and be yourself with.
