Faerie Card Reading for the Week of April 9 – 15, 2018

Card: The Inner Voice – from the Angel Prayers Oracle Cards by Kyle Gray.

“The inner voice is very subtle and it takes patience and the willingness to listen in order to truly hear what it says. But you will know when the Angels are speaking to you because whatever they present to you will wholly loving and supportive and there will be no rush. If your ‘guidance’ is to do something that will bring harm to you or another person or you are promised excessive riches, then you’ll know the ego has taken over.”

Message from Erin: The faeries have expressed to me many times that if they could have one wish for us it would be that we learned to trust our intuition. What is intuition? It’s that gut feeling you have when you meet someone for the first time. It’s that sinking feeling that you get before something bad happens. Your intuition is your basic instincts. It’s also those first thoughts that pop into your mind, that surprise you, when your trying to come up with solutions to problems. Your intuition is the guidance you get from what some people call “your higher self”.

I’m not entirely sure I’m satisfied with the term “higher self” because in infers that we aren’t at our very best in this moment, and I think we’re all trying hard to be that. I would rather call the higher self our spirit. Our spirit is here and a part of ourself at all times, but it can get really drowned out by our ego – thoughts and feelings. That’s why some people are to drawn to meditation. Meditation is the best way to quiet our ego and connect to our spirit.

Some people pray so that they can receive tguidance from guides, angels and other spirits. The Faeries think that this just great, and they are always happy to oblige, but they insist that we all carry the answers within, in our spirit. If you feel you can’t connect within and must seek help from a divine being, Kyle Gray’s advice in the above quote is a very useful guideline for discernment.

It’s a cliché expression, and probably over used, but the message for this week is: TRUST YOUR VIBES.

I love you,

Erin (and the faeries)

Faerie Card Reading for the Week of April 2 – 8, 2018

Card: Aine – from the Goddess Guidance Oracle Cards by Doreen Virtue.

“Procrastinating about your dreams wont make them go away. Neither will it make them happen. Indecision is the death of the soul’s burning passion to improve, grow, and learn. Don’t worry about making a wrong decision. Instead, worry about making no decision at all! “

Message from the Faeries: We’ve been sending you pretty much the same message for a few weeks now. In case you haven’t been getting the message, we’ve brought in a Faerie Queen as reinforcement to get the message out as clear as possible: now is the time to act! It’s actually past the time for decision making, it is now time to do something. Get moving!

We know that all of you have dreams and aspirations. Some dreams are bigger than others. Take the most important one to you and do something about it. No more thinking about your dreams. You’ve added too many what ifs and doubts. It is now time to just do.

If you’ve been thinking about starting a new hobby, it’s time to sign up for classes. If you’ve been imagining an awesome painting, it’s time to pick up the paint brushes. If you’ve been wanting to start exercising more, it’s time to get a gym membership and get moving. Just do it. No buts or what ifs. No more thinking, just doing.

Got it?! You’ve got it! Now do it!

We love you,

The Faeries

Faerie Card Reading for the Week of March 26 – April 1, 2018

Card: Ace or Autumn – from the Fairy Tarot Cards by Doreen Virtue and Radleigh Valentine.

“Wonderful news! A windfall of unexpected resources arrives to help you pursue your dreams! The fairies are trustworthy manifesters, and they’ve brought you a gift. This may be financial abundance such as money, or it could be wise counsel, physical help with your project, or someone can introduce you to very influential people.”

Message from Erin: As always, I asked the faeries for guidance while choosing a card for us this week. I was guided to choose this card and I was a little bit dismayed that it was the Ace Autumn because it’s clearly spring time here and it went against my senses. The faeries assured me that this was indeed the correct card and that the message of the card was most important. They also said: “things are a bit topsy turvy at the moment and you just need to let go and go with the flow.” They also told me that things are going to work out just the way they are supposed, which isn’t the most reassuring thing that faeries can say, haha.

As always, the jokes on me. After reading up on the card I looked down and noticed I had put the rest of the deck of cards down face-up and the Ace of Spring was on the bottom and it was mockingly looking up at me. Very funny, faeries. Very funny. Topsy turvy, indeed.

So we have two cards this week! Haha! Enjoy 🙂

Card: Ace of Spring

“The fairy of spring presents you with a wonderful new opportunity that will allow you to achieve what you desire. Your fledging hopes are now about to take flight, and all that’s needed from you is the courage to see things through. Be daring, be fearless, and then happily pursue your most treasured dreams.”

Message from The Faeries: Something most helpful will come this way for you this week. If you accept the gifts that are offered to you, in combination with all of your own efforts and determination, you will find yourself on the right path to achieving your goals and making your dreams into a reality.

If things seem a bit difficult and challenging right now, do not despair. Instead, hold your head high so that you can see all the good things that are coming your way. Ride out these turbulent waves, because it’s going to be smooth sailing in the next few weeks.

We love you,

Erin and the Faeries

Faerie Card Reading for the Week of March 19 – 25, 2018

Card: Seven of Wands – from the Tarot Del Fuego by Ricardo Cavolo.

“Success, gain, overcoming obstacles and challenges, advantage.”

Message from the Faeries: Look at that busy little beaver. All of her hard work has paid off and she is receiving her rewards in a huge wave of fishies. Her and her family will be eating for days. Good work, beaver!

We recommend that you follow the example of this beaver. The secret to success is hard work and dedication. If you have any goals you want to accomplish, or you are trying to manifest something in your life, you aren’t going to have success unless you put in time and effort.

There is another element to success that is evident in this card, which is fire (the Wands). Using your creativity and imagination, you will be able to conjure up new ways of achieving success in your projects. The fire within will guide you in the right directions, and bring you ideas you need to succeed. Use your fire to bring what you desire into creation.

We love you,

The Faeries

Faerie Card Reading for the Week of March 12 – 18, 2018

Card: Stingray – from The Wild Unknown Animal Spirit cards by Kim Krans.

“The stingray card represents a pivotal point in personal growth. The moment has come when the stingray must decide between the old (easy, comfortable, and familiar) and the new (challenging, uncomfortable, and unfamiliar)…No matter what choice is made now, it’s inevitable that this dilemma will surface again and again, as the force of dharma growing within the stingray is too strong to ignore.”

Message from the Faeries: Stingrays are so beautiful and graceful, as they glide through the ocean waters. They also can be quite dangerous with the poisonous sting of their tails. As you navigate through the waters of life, be strong and graceful like the stingray.

This week you my find yourself making some very important life decisions. You won’t necessarily be taking immediate action, but your future plans are laid out by you, as you feel a burst of strength and determination.

No matter how are you try please your friends, partners and family, sometimes the decisions you make may upset or hurt them. It doesn’t matter how much grace and dignity you evoke, the result would be the same: someone won’t be happy with your plans. Like the stingray, you might not want to harm, but it can happen regardless. You know that it really is impossible to make everyone happy. While you can do your best to make amends and accommodate other people’s needs, sometimes you have no choice but to follow your heart and do what’s best for you.

We love you,

The Faeries

Faerie Card Reading for the Week of March 5 – 11, 2018

Card: XIV Grace – from The Mystical Cats Tarot by Lunaea Weatherstone.

“Find that place of inner harmony that allows you to move through any challenge with poise and grace. If you find yourself knocked off balance, assess what is needed to steady yourself again. Your ability to adapt to changing circumstances will make you sure-footed even in the most tempestuous of times. Seek tranquility.”

Message from the Faeries: When you look back at stressful events in your life, do you look back at yourself with pride or do you look back filled with regret with way in which you handled yourself? Those moments of regret are moments of measure. Were you respectful? Did you handle yourself with grace? Were you dignified in your actions and behaviour?

It is likely those moments that you look back in pride, that you handled yourself well under pressure. Grace is a quality that so very few people are born endowed with. It is a quality that is honed and refined with life experience. Those stressful moments you handled poorly were the teachable moments that have allowed you to refine yourself.

One way in which you learn to maintain grace and dignity, is to come to the understanding that there is no point in sweating the small stuff. Another important lesson is learning the temporal nature of existence. Most importantly, it is accepting that you can’t control how other people carry themselves, but you can take responsibility for the way you carry yourself and how react under various circumstances.

Of course, you can’t always control how you may react under adversity. However, once you’ve become determined to move through life with some quality of grace, you can observe yourself maneuvering through the world and hold yourself with a bit of pride. As far as we are concerned, there is no shame in having pride in oneself.

We love you and we are proud of you.

Faerie Card Reading for the Week of February 26 – March 4, 2018

Card: 62 – The Glanconer – from The Faeries’ Oracle by Brian Froud and Jessica MacBeth.

“It is no good to make decisions when blinded by lust. Whether it is lust for a person, a thing, or an idea, we need to pause take our time before making actual commitments. We need to read the fine print, check out the foundations, get a mechanic to test the so-beautiful secondhand car.”

Message from Erin: I looked at the faerie in this card and said to him “You’re a bit of bastard, aren’t you?” He laughed delightedly, and then he said “All that glitters is not gold”, and then he stood there smirking like the bastard that he is. Of course, for a moment I felt bad for calling him a bastard, cuz that’s just how I am, but then I felt okay about it because I’m still discovering how important it is for me to trust my instincts and tell it like I see it.

I thought of all the moments in my life where I met someone and had that bad feeling my gut that told me not to trust someone, but I ignored that intuition because I didn’t believe in myself and I was so wanting to believe in that person because they were so charming and beautiful. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve done this in my life. Just, too many, haha.

And that’s just how it, isn’t it? Sometimes we just want to believe in someone or something so badly that we aren’t wanting to see the truth behind it. We ignore our instincts and we are blind to what’s really happening. Let’s forgive ourselves for those moments in our lives and put them behind us, and let us vow to believe in ourselves and trust our intuition.

I love you,

Erin (and the Faeries who are always here in spirit.

Faerie Card Reading for the Week of February 19 – 25, 2018

Card: 15 ‘AWA (The Kava Plant) Offering/Sacrifice – from the Mana Cards: The Power of Hawaiian Wisdom by Catherine Kalama Becker, Ph.D. and Doya Nardin.

“‘Awa teaches that to avoid bitterness it is important to examine your perceptions regarding giving and receiving. With regard to giving, you may want to examine whether you are giving freely or giving with the expectation of getting something back. This distinction also applies to offering an opinion. Sometimes it is important to speak your truth without expecting another to respond as you think they should.”

Message from the Faeries: Even though the kava plant can taste so bitter, it has amazing healing properties. Sometimes the healing journey can a bitter one. When you are healing yourself, you sometimes remember all the pain and trauma you endured. These memories can bring up feelings of anger and resentment. You may also feel anger and resentment when you give people gifts, praise or affection and they give you nothing in return.

Whatever is the root of your trauma and feelings of hurt, there is one commonality: they are the result of situations in your life where you had unmet expectations. You wanted to receive something in return for the gift you gave – whether you wanted it then or later. You expected love in return for the love you gave. You desperately hoped that because you trusted someone that they would honour that trust you had in them.

This week, when you find yourself giving to others, pay attention to the motives and feelings behind what you offer. You could be giving someone a gift, or it could be your time and energy. Whatever it is you gift to others, we suggest you try to only extend yourself freely. Try to give only when you feel like it, and only when you expect nothing in return. Try your best! It can certainly be a challenge to be so honest with yourself and others, but you might find it to be a habit worth adopting. You may also want to try doing the same exercise with receiving as well. What are genuinely willing to receive from others?

We love you,

The Faeries

Faerie Card Reading for the Week of February 12 – 18, 2018

Card: Blessings of the Moon Maiden – from the Kuan Yin Oracle cards by Alana Fairchild.

“The Moon Maiden, with her Lucky Hare, brings auspicious tidings of prosperity and abundance to you now. The Universe seeks to replenish, restore and create through you. Allow yourself to receive beyond what you have thought is possible by opening your heart with gratitude now. Let the blessings of good fortune from the beloved Maiden of the Moon, Kuan Yin, flow easily into your life now.”

Message from the Faeries: This week truly will be a blessing. We recommend you do your best to really enjoy and appreciate every moment of it. Take full advantage of it. If you remain open to receiving, and to possibilities, you may just find yourself with an unexpected abundance.

This is also a good week to begin any creative endeavours. If you have been itching to do something artistic and fun, now would be the time to get started. What you begin this week will set the tone for a very successful project. The present is the present. Take the gift and make the most of it.

We would like to gently remind you that it is of outmost importance for you to have, and express, genuine gratitude for the gifts and abundance that you receive. When you take things for granted, it puts you in an energetic vibration that prevents you from succeeding, or stops the flow of good things coming your way. You have so many blessings in your life, it’s could practice to spend the time counting them and giving thanks.

We love you, The Faeries

Faerie Card Reading for the Week of February 5 – 11, 2018

Card: Ten of Swords – from the Shadowscapes Tarot by Stephanie Pui-Mun Law and Barbara Moore.

“The Ten of Swords represents misfortune, desolation, burdens to bear, ruin, the end of delusions. It feels like circumstances have instigated a spiraling and uncontrolled plunge. Sometimes circumstances are beyond human control. Sometimes there is nothing to do but ride it out and pick up the pieces when things finally come to a halt, and learn from the mishaps.”

Message from the Faeries: This Card might come across as a bit scary, especially after reading the description, but we are actually feeling pretty good about the appearance of this card this week.

This card is about something not working out the way you had hoped it would. Maybe a plan is going to fall through, or someone will let you down, or maybe a situation will take a bad turn. The thing is, even when thing don’t go your way, it’s happening for a reason that you just can’t see right now. Yeah, it sucks that you didn’t get the immediate outcome you had hope for. Of course you might be bummed out and feel let down, but take heart in knowing that this is all just a part of the journey.

Don’t hold on to these moments that you might think are so bad. When you hold on to the feelings of disappointment it can lead to feelings of bitterness or anger. When you come from that place it will only lead to further feelings of betrayal and disillusionment, and that can cause you to spiral out.

February can be a challenging month for many people. Winter feels like it is dragging on. The weather can become and obstacle, and mental health is hard to maintain. So, don’t let a bump on the road of your journey get you down right now. Just pick yourself up, hold your head high and keep moving forward. There are still so many good things to come.

We love you.

The Faeries
