Card: Three or Autumn – from the Fairy Tarot Cards by Doreen Virtue and Radleigh Valentine.
“Follow your passion when it comes to what you do professionally. If your heart is in your career, then it will shine like a beacon through your work. You can make a successful living through your creativity! You’re drawn to what will bring you joy for a reason, and that in turn will lead to abundance.”
Message from the Faeries: The fall is a time to harvest and get ready for the long winter ahead. Start thinking about how you would like to spend the slow moving cold season that is approaching. Will you hibernate and close yourself in? Or would you like to be more active this winter? What do you want?
This week, it’s time to set the tone and pattern that you would like to carry through the winter months. If you want to have a more physical routine, it’s time to start going to the gym or getting more exercise. If you want to eat healthier, do it now. If you want to be more creative and spend less time on your phone, then you better get to it.
The energy is just right for you to get into the good habits that will carry you through in the future. We also recommend sitting down and writing out your aspirations for the next 6 months. Meditate on it and put lots of positive thoughts into it. Your attitude this week is going to have a large impact on the next few months. It’s important to keep your thoughts and words in check.
Be passionate about what matters to you the most and the rest will fall into place.
We love you,
Card: Five of Swords – from The Fountain Tarot by Jonathan Saiz.
“Tainted Victory – Victories get polluted when your personal integrity is compromised. Nobody actually wins in this scenario, and the backlash can be horrible. Make sure you are paying attention to the whole picture. Broaden your vision and honour your principles. It will pay off in the long run.”
Message from Erin: This past week was a bit of a stressful one for me. It was very busy at work, and in the midst of the chaos, I got into an argument with one of my coworkers. I really hate conflict, and it was challenging for me to keep my anger under wraps. Even though I felt I was in the right, and had to stand up for myself and other coworkers, I did not feel like I came up a winner in my battle. It feels awful, for me, to argue with someone.
However, despite the fact that I didn’t “win”, I gained some understanding of myself and other people. The truth can be harsh and uncomfortable. And my truth is really important to me. I don’t need to be right all the time, but I need things to be just and fair. If someone isn’t being fair or just, I need to stand up to that. That’s my truth. I am willing to be the loser in a scenario where the truth needs to be told.
And so, this week I want to reflect on this card. It’s okay to go into battle and come out the loser, especially if it’s for something or someone that you feel is very important. But ask yourself: is this battle worth it? Is this the sword you want to fall on? Are you willing to lose? What is the price you are willing to pay?
In the grander scheme of everything, when when I’m looking at all aspects of my life, I can ask myself: is this worth it? Am I willing to fail or succeed for this? Discernment – it’s a very useful skill to learn. I hope to gain this wisdom. Maybe you want it too.
I love you,
Card: Ace of Wands – from the Circle of Life Tarot by Maria Distefano.
“Intuition is the sister of reason. Both must be developed without giving preference to one or the other.”
Message from the Faeries: While we find the words that come along with this card to be interesting, we would like to expand upon them by saying that intuition and reason are not a duality, they are bound together like this faerie and bird in the egg.
All great artists, writers, scientists, architects…anyone who creates something spectacular…doesn’t rely on just their intuition or just their reason, they rely on both, to execute their accomplishments. On top of using their skills and hard work, they are great alchemists that are able to create something fantastic using the magic of instincts and logic. Try to find the balance between of your ability to use reason and your ability see things that are invisible to the naked eye.
Trust in yourself! Think of the egg in this card to be the philosopher stone that will allow you to create the life you want for yourself, and to achieve your creative goals. You were born to do this. When you were a child, hatched out of this egg, you had the natural abilities to combine reason and intuition. This current reality you live in favours logic over gut instincts, and therefor most of you have a distrust in your sixth sense. When you learn to trust your instincts, you will accomplish many great things, and become the alchemists you were meant to be.
We love you,
The dreamer has yet to sleep
Awake waiting for sweet slumber
Eyes growing heaving
Once again wide open
The blue messenger made of ether
Swirls and dances before the dreamer
This is no dream
No figment of the imagination
This is a divine delivery
A divine intervention
The blue messenger brings good tidings
A note from above
The future holds excitement for you
It has been written
Who is this sweet blue messenger?
What is thy name?
The answer is a delicious whisper
That holds no truth
Blessing to you Blue Fae
May your name remain thine own
Yours to keep for eternity
Your gifts cherished forever
Card: 27 Nelys the Alchemyst – from The Faeries’ Oracle by Brian Froud and Jessica MacBeth.
“When Nelys turns up in your reading, get ready for things to happen, inwardly and outwardly. The stuck becomes unstuck; the block begins to move. You may have to run to keep up with the speed at which the situation around you is moving. You may also be surprised by the direction things (and you) are taking. You may find your plans, even your desires and dreams, changing as the transformative process takes place.”
Message from the Faeries: We hope you are ready because: shift happens! And things are about to take some interesting twists and turns over the next few weeks. The Equinox not only brought with it a change in season and weather, but it also stirred transformative winds that will blow all around you. But have no fears because you have all that you need to survive this storm. In fact, not only will you survive it, you will thrive in it.
Let these winds of change blow through you and uproot you out of your comfort zone. It’s time to get up and move around and let things happen. This current transformation that you are undergoing is absolutely major. We won’t lie, some of it might feel a bit uncomfortable and it’s going to hurt a little. You are being challenged right now, and some of you are feeling it on a deep cellular level. We promise that this is a very temporary stage you will have to endure. What’s about to pop off for you is well worth it.
We are so thrilled that Nelys has shown up for you this week. It means that you are finally ready to move forward and welcome some incredible things that are ready to come into your life. New situations, opportunities and people are lined up and ready to move in to your life. Ask Nelys to assist you in finding the strength and courage to open your heart and mind to allow these upcoming transmutations. Your world is about to get rocked! In all the best ways!

Card: III Empress – from the Voyager Tarot by James Wanless, Ph.D.
“The Empress, symbolizing the law of preservation, is the guardian of life. Standing before the earth, she represents your charge to protect it and that lives…Life is a miracle. The Empress honours and respects all of life for its inherent richness and beauty.”
Message from Erin: I was so not surprised to pull this card for us this week. The Empress – the divine feminine – has been a reoccurring theme for me past few weeks. This feminine energy has been coming up a lot in conversations I’m having with some of my close women friends.
Why is the Empress showing up? Well, the first thing I want to say is that if you plan to work with the faeries at all, you will become very familiar with this strong feminine energy. The Faeries have a deep love for all of life. While they do have an affinity for humans, they will will fiercely try to protect all life on this planet. So this protective female energy is felt by me all the time.
I get the sense that the Divine Feminine is coming up for a lot of people right now, for both men and women. This energy can be quite challenging for some. It’s demanding that all of us to be more respectful of life – to all living beings. It’s asking us to have some deep and honest conversations with ourselves and each other – How are we protecting and honouring life? Are we? What happens if we don’t?
We are feeling and seeing the direct results of us and our ancestors not protecting and honouring life. We see it with climate change. We see it with people reacting to injustice when governments don’t respect and honour life. We feel it in the tensions we experience in our relationships with one another. The Divine Feminine is calling us every day into action. I pray that we all find the power within ourselves to answer the call.
I love you,
Card: The Miracle of Prayer – from the Angel Prayers Oracle Cards by Kyle Gray.
“The Angels want you to know that the prayers you’ve sent to Heaven have been heard. They are encouraging you not to ask for help, but to accept it. They send an answer to every prayer you send in their direction, and are encouraging you to fill your prayers with loving thoughts and gratitude. Instead of asking for specifics, thank the Angels for guiding you to the best possible outcome for your highest good.”
Message from the Faeries: Prayer has different meaning to everyone. For some people it is an act of devotion, where you express your love and gratitude. For some it is a way to bring blessings to everyone or to specific individuals. For others, it is a way to ask for things to come into their lives. It can also be an act of desperation and grief when something has gone terribly wrong.
Whatever your reason for prayer doesn’t really matter. What matters is that it is a deeply profound action from the heart, full of love and gratitude. This act alone has so many benefits to you and those you pray for. The results may not always match up to what you specifically ask for, but that is just the nature of prayer. You get what you need, but not always what you want.
For those of you who pray, we have no doubt that all of you have witnessed the miracle of having your prayers answered. The truth is, like the Angels say, is that your prayers are always answered. You may have unknowingly turned the answer prayer away because you didn’t recognize it. You might have not liked the answer you got. Or maybe your heart just wasn’t open to receive.
This week is about keeping your heart and mind open to receive, because your prayers are most definitely being answered.
We love you,
Card: Three of Cups – from the Shadowscapes tarot by Stephanie Pui-Mun Law and Barbara Moore.
“There is a song that dwells at the ocean’s floor. Once in a great while, it bursts forth in an unstoppable swell to rise towards the surface. The Three of Cups is a call to celebration, dancing, and singing. Friendship is its key component, and companionship, relying on others, and developing community and team spirit.”
Message from the Faeries: Last week’s card was about healing the heart and relationships. This week we are still wanting to talk to you about the heart and relationships. Specifically we want to talk to you have your friends and community.
One of the greatest blessings you will have in this life are your friends. Friendships are the magical connections that you make with other people that you share common interests or experiences with. While friends are like family, the relationship can be stronger and healthier because there isn’t the same expectations or history that is shared with your blood family members. You can’t pick your parents, but you can pick your friends.
This week is a good opportunity to reflect on all the special connections you’ve made in your life. It doesn’t matter if you are still friends or not. Cherish the memories and honour, in your heart, the blessings of those special connections. All of you have been blessed with so much fun and love. Keep your heart open and full of excitement for all the connections and special moments you will share in the future.
Take a moment and imagine yourself celebrating with all your friends – past, present and future. How wonderful and lucky you have been to meet such amazing people! You are truly blessed. Enjoy and be thankful.
We love you,
Card: 21 The Faery Who Was Kissed by the Pixies – from The Faeries’ Oracle by Brian Froud and Jessica Macbeth.
“The presence is the Faery Who was Kissed by the Pixies suggests giving and receiving love and intimacy in any of a wide variety of relationships. She gives notice that this is a time to open and heal our hearts. Different aspects of life may well be flowing happily together, healing separations and hurts from the past. Bonding may take place and deep feelings emerge. Changes for the better may occur in all aspects of life, but especially in relationships, which may be deepening and becoming richer. You may be experiencing love therapy for opening the heart as new relationships begin and old ones develop. Enjoy!”
Message from Erin: My heart jumped for joy when I pulled this card for us this week. I love this card so much. It brings me tears of tremendous happiness. What a blessing to be visited by this faerie.
This is such a healing card. Just yesterday I was writing deep soul connections, and how often it is past trauma between two souls that bring people together in this life. These karmic relationships are the real work in this life.
If we can heal these relationships, then what is left between two souls is only love. Souls bound by pure love, healed of trauma, are those very rare deep connections where you feel only an unconditional, unpossesive love for someone. How special and magical is that? Imagine a life where all we had was were these kind of deep soul connections. I pray we all have that kind of love in our lives.
I love you,
Erin (and the faeries)
In my skin
Swim to your harbour
Crawl out of the sea
Shed my skin
Walk your shores
Kelp for my dress
Hide my skin
Delight in sand between toes
Feel the salt dry
Lose my skin
Mourn on the rocks
Longing for home
Find my skin
Dive into the ocean
