Message from The Faeries: This week is all about your body. Your body is a truly amazing miracle. Your body houses you on this physical plane, and it is a very complex system that is so intricate and complicated in and of itself. Really think about your body. Think about what it means to have a body. Do you feel like you are your body? Is your body you? How do you feel about your body? Do you love your body?
We notice that most of you don’t really take the time to think about your body, and yet your body is such an important aspect of your being. While you are here on Earth, your body houses your soul. How amazing is that? And yet, many of you are somehow disconnected from your physical body. If you were truly connected to your physical body, most of you would be taking much better care of yourselves. You would be so aware that everything you eat, the energies and people you surround yourself with, your environment, that you would take extra care to only eat foods that make your body healthy and strong and that were energetically clean.
When you are connected to physical body, you are also aware that that how you take care of yourself physically also has a tremendous impact on your emotional body. Exercise, fresh air, clean water and healthy food are directly linked to your emotions and your state of mind. All the processed foods that some of you eat, all the poisons in your environment, and all the chemicals in your drinking water, are taking a toll on your physical being, and it’s having a huge impact on your emotional and mental being. Everything is connected!
Physical activity is a great way to bring you back into your body. Do some sort of physical activity this week, where it’s going for a walk, dancing to your favourite song, or climbing a mountain. Whatever you enjoy doing! While you are doing something. Physical, we ask that you really be present with your body. What is it saying to you? If you are in any sort of pain, listen to that and act accordingly. If your body is telling you stop, stop. If your body wants to keep going, keep going.
As part of your self care this week, if possible, also treat your body to massage or a hot bath. Take a visit to the chiropractor or acupuncturist. Do something that shows your body that you care for it and that you want to be healthy and well. Self-care is an essential part of moving in the direction of your heart’s desires.
