Card: Patience – from The Faerie Guidance Oracle cards by Paulina Cassidy
“The Faerie of Patience pets a forest damselfly as she bides her time, waiting for something much anticipated. ‘What could it be? When will it happen?’ you may ask, but that’s not really important, not to her. She waits for everything – no matter how big, small, exciting, or mundane – the same way…with utter and virtuous patience. She refuses to give in to the energy-expending, agitating creature called ‘impatience,’ and instead remains deep in thought in her place of tranquility, using this time constructively to visualize more healthy and beneficial things. The giant mushroom symbolizes a cushiony rest created by the ability to retain patience and not upset the balance of inner peace.
The Faerie of Patience wants you to know that to achieve patience, you must first realize what impatience is and where it can be found. Impatience is simply a self-agitating condition that occurs when you don’t have control over something you wish you could, yet refuse to accept it as the way it is. Agitation or impatience doesn’t always have to be situational or time-related; it can be said of people as well. Sometimes it’s all too easy to get impatient or agitated with people who aren’t exactly how you want them to be. This faerie wants you to realize that you should never give power to things that you can’t (or shouldn’t) control. Once you can let go of such silliness, true patience can be found.”
Message from The Faeries: ALL GOOD THINGS COME TO THOSE WHO WAIT or are willing to wait.
Message from Erin: Yeah…that’s honestly all the faeries have to say this week to all of us. Just sit back, relax and wait. We’ve done all the legwork, there is nothing to be done. Nothing to control or manipulate. Just be patient. Everything that you have have been working towards is coming your way. It’s all about divine timing. If we are impatient and getting irritated, this is a way of blocking all the good things that are coming our way. It shows lack of trust and the need to control everything. Patience is indeed a virtue and it’s one that I most certainly need to cultivate, haha.
Hope everyone has a wonderful week!
