Faerie Card Reading for the Week of November 20 – 26, 2017

Card: Ten of Winter – from the Fairy Tarot Cards by Doreen Virtue and Radleigh Valentine.

“It’s time to walk (or run!) away. This situation no longer serves you and is merely holding you back. Sometimes endings are sad, and sometimes they’re a relief. Changes can be stressful and intimidating, but trust that this is a healthy and necessary one.”

Message from Erin: A few minutes before I pulled this card, I was having this overwhelming feeling of sadness and heartbreak. It was strange because it felt like it came out of nowhere. I felt like I was going to cry, but I had no idea why I was feeling that way. I think this card holds an answer for me: a part of me is dying, and I don’t want to let go. I’m scared if I let go of this fear I carry deep inside of me, that I will lose control and over my life and lose myself somehow. But these deep feelings and fears are no longer serving me. These fears are holding me back. I wonder if this card holds true for any of you…

Message from the Faeries: As winter approaches, the seasonal changes are going to be reflected outwardly and inwardly. As some creatures and plants are dying, so are parts of yourself. Don’t be afraid of death and changes, it’s all very natural and healthy.

Maybe some aspect of your life is in great need of change. Is it time to end a relationship? Is it time to move away? Is it time to quit your job? Maybe it’s something more profound. Maybe it’s time to change your way of thinking, or maybe it’s time to open your heart and mind to new possibilities. Whatever changes come your way, we hope you embrace them with ease and grace.

We love you,

The Faeries

Faerie Card Reading for the Week of November 13 – 19, 2017

Card: Kick Up Your Heels – from the Healing with the Fairies Oracle Cards by Doreen Virtue.

“There is always something to celebrate, and this card asks you to do so now. Your soul longs for an exciting adventure, such as a out-of-town trip, throwing a party, or kicking up your heels and dancing. Sometimes we procrastinate when it comes to personal time-outs, believing that such activities cost too much time and money. Yet the benefits of celebrating are many: getting a fresh perspective and new ideas, rekindling old friendships, and the sheer joy of entertaining yourself.”

Message from the Faeries: If you haven’t been having any fun lately then it’s time to get at it. It’s easy to get caught up in all the seriousness and business of life and lose sight of the big picture. As far as we are concerned, a life without fun is not a life worth living. So if you aren’t having any fun, then you are doing it wrong.

Some of you might not want to take our advice. Why would you listen to the faeries? We are notorious partiers and we don’t seem to take anything too seriously. Correct? Well it is true we love to play, make games and have lots of fun, but we do take the business of partying very seriously. The more joy and laughter, then the better a life and a more livable world.

One of the reasons you all have so much stress in your lives is because you take yourselves and everything else so seriously. Lighten up a little! We challenge you to spend at least 30 minutes each day doing something that you enjoy and brings you joy. It has to be activities that you don’t normally do, like dancing, singing or going to a new restaurant. It’s time to shake things up a little and bring more smiles to your hearts. Then, pay attention to how these moments of fun each day impact how your week goes, overall. Maybe you’ll decide to make a regular habit of it.

We love you,

The Faeries

Faerie Card Reading for the Week of November 6 – 12, 2017

Card: Two of Wands – from the Circle of Life Tarot by Maria Distefano.

“It is presumptuous to think that certain problems and difficulties are ours alone. Knowing that we share them may serve and consolation.”

Message from the Faeries: Last week the wands appeared, and they are back again this week. Wands are the element of fire, and they represent the alchemical and creative energies. This is very much a time of change and transformation. Right now would be a good time to be doing some sort of creative project.

In the imagery of this card, there are two women with their backs to each other. They are both working with their own separate fires. Imagine what would happen if they were to face each other and share their creative energies. A partnership may not only increase their productivity, it might also allow them to learn and share new ideas. Sometimes it can really pay off to work on important projects with other people. If you don’t want to work with other people, it could also be valuable to ask someone to look at your work and ask for their feedback.

Another aspect of this card is the number 2. There is a duality expressed in this imagery, not only with the two faeries, or the two snails, but also with showing the the contrast of the light and the darkness. As the days are getting shorter there is a movement closer towards more darkness. It’s okay to spend some time exploring your shadow sides if you feel so inclined, just remember to keep it close to the light.

We love you,

Faerie Card Reading for the Week of October 30 – November 5, 2017

Card: Five of Wands – from the Shadowscapes tarot by Stephanie Pui-Mun Law and Barbara Moore.

“In the Five of Wands, sometimes it seems the world tosses dozens of obstacles in your path. When gathered together, these minor obstructions become an overwhelming wall to overcome, but take heart and let the adrenaline awaken body and mind to rise to the challenge. Answer that challenge not with despair but with renewed vigor. Appreciate the unknown strengths that are drawn forth when faced with difficulties.”

Message from the Faeries: Now is not the time for dithering or dilly-dallying. Now is not the time for sitting around and waiting for things to happen. Now is not the time for feeling overwhelmed, like you can’t move or take action. Now is the time to get up and move and get things done.

It’s easy to feel paralyzed with fear or overwhelmed, especially when it feels like everything is happening at once. This week is going to be fast paced and feel like there is no end in sight. Have no fear, this is just a passing moment of hectic business. Things will start to wind down at the end of week. That is when you can take a breather and rest. The week will go by super quickly, you just need to hunker down and get to business.

Like the rabbit in the imagery of this card, you will manage to get through this week unscathed, but it will take some determination on your part. Take courage and believe in yourself. We have no doubt whatsoever that you can accomplish all you need to at this time. You’ve got this.

We love you,

The Faeries

Faerie Card Reading for the Week of October 23 – 29, 2017

Card: King of Coins – from The Fountain Tarot by Jonathan Saiz.

“Traditional values, practicality, and hard work have kept the King of Coins grounded and successful, giving him both material wealth and a respect for the rhythms of life – the ups and downs. The King hates risk and cares little for innovation or about what’s popular, order and common sense rule the day.”

Message from the Faeries: The King of Coins (Pentacles) has appeared once again. He’s come to check in to see the progress you are making. Are you getting ready for the cold winter? Have you been taking good care of yourself? What kind of provisions are you setting aside?

You might be feeling a bit lazy these days, or maybe you are energized by this season. Either way, things are going to start slowing down soon, so it’s really important to get any tasks that you’ve been procrastinating on done in the next couple of weeks. If you are feeling too tired to do something on your own, you can also ask other people to assist you. It’s okay to ask for help.

Right now is not the time to be frivolous with your time, energy and resources. It is a time for being practical and focusing on what’s essential and important. Prioritize carefully and don’t waste yourself on anything that isn’t important to you. It sounds simple and basic common sense, but good to adhere to: if something doesn’t feel right, don’t do it. Wasting time right now will cost you in long run.

Despite the more serious tone of this week’s message, please also remember to spend at least one moment of this week – hopefully more –  doing the things you love to do. Weather permitting, go out and enjoy the beauty of the earth changes.

We love you,

The Faeries

Faerie Card Reading for the Week of October 16 – 22, 2017

Card: 60 The Pook – from The Faeries’ Oracle by Brian Froud and Jessica Macbeth.

“Our paradoxes and confusions are self-created, and the Pook need only dress them up a bit, add a little sparkle, and dangle them before is in order to induce confusion. In that confusion, we are likely to believe almost anything someone presents to us, just as if we have a metaphorical anchor in reality. His challenge for us is to wake up, to stop projecting our confusions on reality.”

Message from the Faeries: As you movie further into October, the veils between realms is getting thinner and thinner. You may start to notice things around you that you didn’t before. It might be events or situations in your life that you begin to see in a new light.

The Pook can be a tricky fellow. He can cause confusion and make you question reality. He’s hanging around right now to assist you in seeing through the veil. Warning: it might turn your world upside down. There might be a little chaos in your life in the next week or two. This isn’t a bad thing. It just means that your truth and reality will be changing.

Would rather see things for how they really are, or would like to keep up the charade? It’s ultimately up to you at the end of the day, but you might find it difficult to resist the Pook. He can be quite persuasive. It might be worth the adventure to discover your truth, even it means having to change your way of looking at the world. We strongly encourage having an open mind this week. If you resist the truth, it will likely rob you of an opportunity to change, shift or transform.

We love you,

The Faeries

Faerie Card Reading for the Week of October 9 – 15, 2017

Card: VI The Lovers – from the Tarot Del Fuego by Ricardo Cavolo.

“Love, beauty, unanimity, trists overcome, confidence, beginning of a possible romance, infatuation, tendency towards optimism, letting oneself go, the necessity of testing  or subjecting to trial, struggle between sacred and profane love, putting to the proof, yearning.”

Message from the Faeries: This week, it’s all about love. For those of you who are single and are hoping to meet someone, and for those who are wanting romance in your life, this week will present you with an opportunity. If this is what you really want in your life right now, then pay close attention to signs being given to you and listen tonyour intuition. If you feel compelled to go somewhere or do something, then you should follow your instincts.

We would like to take this time to tell you that you are all surrounded by love, all the time. If you are feeling a lack of love right now, then you are not paying attention to the love that is there for you at all times. It means you’ve closed yourself off to love that is always there. Open yourself up and be vulnerable. Let the love in.

Please don’t forget this you are made of love. You don’t even have to look outside for love, all you could possibly need is within. Give yourself some love you deserved it.

And this is our other message for this week – you all deserve love. Every single one of you. No exception. You all deserve to be have love. You all deserve to be loved. You all deserve to give love too. We hope you take this to heart.

We love you,

The Faeries

Faerie Card Reading for the Week of October 2 – 8, 2017

Card: King of Pentacles – from the Shadowscapes tarot by Stephanie Pui-Mun and Barbara Moore.

“This king is an enterprising individual, a man possessing of multifarious talents. He has the golden touch of Midas. When he lays his hands upon a venture, it is bound for success. When he sets his mind to an idea, it becomes polished brilliance. He is reliable and adept at what he does. He is a steady and solid support should you need someone to lean on. He is an inspiration for success and still is generous and willing to share his wealth and fortune. Partake of the fruit he offers. He knows that wealth will be shared and shared again, and from those fruits, new seeds will sprout and grow to be mighty trees.”

Message from the Faeries: The King of Pentacles is also the King of Autumn. He sends you blessings of abundance at this time. His Knight of Pentacles appeared a few weeks ago to announce the coming Fall season and now it is upon you (depending on which hemisphere you live).

The Fall is a time of great changes. It is a time to harvest all of your abundance. It is a time to reflect on your accomplishments and reap what was sown. It is also the time where things begin to die and return to the soil. Gather up all of your nuts and seeds and save them for when it is time to be planted. After all of your hard work, do not forget to celebrate. The King of Pentacles is here to remind you to be grateful for all of your abundance.

Most importantly, The King wants to remind you that this is one of the most magical times of the year. This is a special time where the energy of transformation is peaking, and the veil between the realms is very thin. It would be in your best interest to take advantage of the energies that surround you.

This is a time to remember your dreams – write them down – seek the deeper meaning in them. You will be given lots of messages through dreams and/or through symbols that may appear throughout the day. Pay very close attention to this week. There will be magical events happening all around you and if are open to it, you might catch glimpses of miracles. You might also have an epiphany this week or be the recipient of a miracle yourself. Keep an open heart and an open mind.

We love you,

The Faeries

Faerie Card Reading for the Week of September 25 – October 1, 2017

Card: Three of Cups – from The Fountain Tarot by Jonathan Saiz.

“Three cups glow in the radiant warmth that can only be created by hearts that share a past. The Three of Cups is a spontaneous celebration – in the past, the present, or the future – that honours the bonds of family and intimate friendship. Though your solitary achievements have been many, now is the time to acknowledge your community, and revel in the love of those who know and support you. “

Message from the Faeries: Now that, for some of you, the fall season has begun, it is time to relax a little and reflect on all of your accomplishments. Be thankful and grateful for all that you have achieved in your life until this moment. Think about how got to where you are today. All that you have and all that you know – did you get to this moment all on your own? No, you didn’t. You had a lot of help along the way.

This week is the perfect time to remember  everyone that’s helped you on your life’s journey. It is a could practice to honour and respect them. Show gratitude and appreciation for all of your friends and family, and even the strangers who were there for you when you were in a tough spot. One way to honour them is to tell them how much they mean to you – call them up, send them a message or buy them a little gift.

Another way to honour this love of family and friendship is to return the kindness – to them or to a stranger. This is the time to be generous: with words, actions and deeds. There are so many people in the world right now that could really use a helping hand right now – give whatever you can. Autumn is a time of abundance and wealth, and most importantly: sharing. Let the energies of love and charity flow at this time.

We also want to remind you that the Three of Cups is your own personal trifecta: body mind, and spirit. Are these three things in balance and harmony right now? This would be a good week to start working towards bringing the three together so that you are well balanced going into the winter season.

We love you,

The Faeries

Faerie Card Reading for the Week of September 18 – 24, 2017

Card: Ixchel – from the Goddess Guidance Oracle Cards by Doreen Virtue.

“Commanding power is not the same as demanding it. Demanding comes from a childlike place akin to a tantrum, based upon the fear that it might be withheld. Commanding is based upon the fear the sure a steady knowledge that you are part of the Great Spirit’s grace and wisdom. You’re a lightening rod that can conduct the power.”

Note from Erin: I’ve been sick for the last 5 days, and today I’ve been feeling like a little kid wanting to throw a big tantrum. I had a pretty good laugh when I pulled this card – those rascal Faeries teasing me.  It brings up a question for me: how do I conjure up a commanding energy for healing when I’m feeling so rotten? I really just feel sorry myself right now and I feel entitled to feeling better, lol.

Message from the Faeries: When you are not in a good place – when you are feeling down, unhappy or unwell – it can be difficult to be at a place of grace and dignity. When you are suffering, it is not easy to feel safe or be from a place of gratitude. When you are sick, it’s hard to see yourself as the healer.

Even when you are not feeling healthy, you are still the healer. You just have to find that space where you can calm your mind, and relax your soul. When you find the inner peace, you can find the grace to accept the healing into your life. Being in a relaxed and calm state will allow you to be in a place of acceptance: you are sick today, but it doesn’t mean you will be sick forever. This is where you are now, today. Be in the moment.

You can command healing for yourself and others when you trust and know that everything is happening in the moment, now, for a reason. It is all part of your journey. Sickness and health are all part of the ride. Try to relax and enjoy the whole thing – not just the parts you think are good – it is all good whether  you know it or not.

We love you,

The Faeries
